PAIN CARE is Hiring a Surgery Scheduler Near Lawrenceville, GA
The Surgical Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) schedule at their designated location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide superior customer service in person, via phone, and through e-mail pertaining to scheduling procedures
- Seamlessly moves patient from scheduling step to financial counseling to prepare patient for upcoming procedure
- Schedules all procedures and follow-ups as needed
- Coordinated pre-authorizations for back braces
- Audit procedure counts as assigned for each office
- Obtain proper documents for procedures such as Advanced Directives, Billing Policies, etc.
- Keep count of procedures on a daily and monthly basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Pain management experience preferred minimum two (2) years’ experience working in an ambulatory clinic/medical office setting
- Possess an ability to function in a high stress, physically demanding setting
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.)
- Exemplary customer service experience including client relationships and job knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise manual dexterity, control precision and arm-hand steadiness accurately
- Ability to be empathetic with patients; ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to juggle many responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to travel to Johns Creek location
